RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Ch0ww - 15 Nov 10

Thanks for the info!

Is the problem of the non-existant HUD weapon on spectator/demorec fixed?

EDIT : still not... But I've maybe found a way to reactivate it (but off-topic)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Panda - 15 Nov 10

Gut gut :)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Andrez - 15 Nov 10

Cool :D

I was waiting for the protocol support ;)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - OpenSource - 15 Nov 10

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Ch0ww - 15 Nov 10

Anyway, anything with the damage ratios?

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - VallDiGna - 15 Nov 10

No gameplay changes were made.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - makkE - 15 Nov 10

This is mostly a bugfix release. We are now starting to adress the balance issues for the next release, wich we can hopefully get out as soon as possible.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Drakas - 15 Nov 10

Is it backwards-compatible with 1.1.0.3? I hope I don't need to update all of my servers for the fifth time... (.1 -> .2 -> .3 -> .2 -> .3 -> .4 )...

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Panda - 15 Nov 10

The protocol didnt change, as I said earlier :)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Bullpup - 15 Nov 10

Remove the kick thing for inactivity, its just a cheap shot at campers. I was crouched and guarding a passage from flag thieves and get kicked for inactivity, and had a great ratio. Its not my fault if the same lunkhead cant check six before advancing. Honestly it F&*$%ING sucks...I was Crouched reloading AND strafing

-Note, I dont always camp. But as ac has turned into a spawn-->shoot-->die-->spawn-->shoot--->die game its the only way to have any fun.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - makkE - 15 Nov 10

"I was Crouched reloading AND strafing"

In this case, it shouldn't kick you. I will investigate.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Mael - 15 Nov 10

1.1.0.4 attempts to install in the 1.1.0.3 directory. The same thing happened with previous version. Not a serious problem but if you aren't observant you'll never know where the hell it installed.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - CicloN - 15 Nov 10

good job!

But do 1.1.0.5 fast please ;)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - OpenSource - 15 Nov 10

Not to fast pls.
Lest play some 1.1.0.4 and report any bugs and stuff first.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Alex007 - 15 Nov 10

and BTW before installing it make a copy of your file autoexec.cfg I didn't know and delete all my scripts as administrator of the servers of my clan

GL

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - yata - 15 Nov 10

when you release 1.1.0.5 , please have the mac package out at the same time :)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - ärkefiende - 15 Nov 10

Mac package is now availlable, thanks to wahnfred :)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Gibstick - 15 Nov 10

So how is the demo tutorial people (it's in the help menu) :D

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - #M|A#Wolf - 16 Nov 10

When the messages in the console like "Now they are crouching.", etc.. I don't see anything. And the times between each instruction menu pop up seems way too long.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Gibstick - 16 Nov 10

Explain more Wolf about your first point, I don't get it :|
Those messages were to be timed with the demo, so there isn't just a single long stretch of gameplay between two menus that they can't keep track of, but we can split it more. Is something messing up the timing? It's worked so far for the people who've tested it :|

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - V-Man - 16 Nov 10

I liked it! It made me all teary-eyed to see everyone working together! It was informative, too.
And BUKZ! YOUR LAG IS SHOWING! XD

You mean the times between each menu of instruction I'm supposed to be watching something?

For me, the "demo" is acting more like a script where menus and text comes up. Am I supposed to be watching an actual demo??

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Gibstick - 16 Nov 10

LOLWAT, the demo didn't load~!
Is there a demo called "tutorial_demo.dmo" in any of the demo folders? There's one in mine, fresh install, Windows 7.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - #M|A#Wolf - 16 Nov 10

Nope. Mine is Mac. Probably the problem :/

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Ronald_Reagan - 16 Nov 10

aahahaha...
Probably is. Probably that no one told wahnfred about that ;)

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - Gibstick - 16 Nov 10

Download (right click and select "save link as") the tutorial demo, temporary solution for Macs. Put it in the demo folder and launch the tutorial from the Help menu.

RE: 1.1.0.4 release - #M|A#Wolf - 16 Nov 10

That file isn't compatible with Mac xD
