Theme and terrain

The theme of ac_mines is an abondended mine in which the CLA resides. The RVSF have their base outside of the map in a small canyon. The layout of this map with multiple entries, hiding spots and cross cuts, allows very intensive capture the flag-games.

Tips and hints

• Although there is an akimbo in the one passage, the enemy team usually will be able to hear it if you pick it up, and know where you are.
• In the RVSF base, a RVSF player can jump over the rocky structures to camp with the stolen flag or to use the sniper to protect his own flag base.
• In the CLA base, a player can use the place between the mining lift and the flag base as hiding spot.
