Basic strategies are important to maximize your gameplay efficiency.

Camping

Camping may be a good tactic if one is out-skilled or out-numbered. Many camping spots are available in AssaultCube maps. Camping, can, however, be regarded as unsportsmanlike and frowned upon by many players. So, camping in every round might irritate players and you may get kicked or a in-game ban.

Camping at ac_mines is a big part of RVSF players strategy. They can camp on the mountain in their base because it is harder to reach by the CLA. But if CLA have some skilled players with assault rifles they can usually reach the flag fast.

Team modes

Sticking with your teammates may be a good start, especially in capture the flag and team survivor.

Sniper rifle

Fastest way to kill an enemy is by shooting them with the sniper rifle, changing the weapon to pistol and shooting them once. Useful in all ranges
