Slang and Related Abbreviations

- "Away from keyboard" - Signifies the status of going away.

- "Bad game" - Said after the end of a bad game without good results

- "Be right back"
- cu
- "see you (later)"
- gg
- "Good game" - Said after the end of a good game.
- gj
- "Good job" - Often said after a teams wins a flag in ctf
- lol
- "Lot of laughs"
- np
- "No problem"
- ns
- "Nice shot"
- omg
- "Oh My God!" - Expression often used when we see something unbelievable or stupid ...

- "Oh My F**king God"
- sry
- "Sorry"
- ty
- "Thank you"
- tk
- "Team kill" - A kill done by a teammate.
- wtf
- "What The F***?"

- "What The Hell?"
Jargon and Other Definitions
- Clan
- A small community of players.
- Cheater
- A player who may be using unfair methods to improve their gameplay.
- Frag
- A kill.
- Gib
- Done by scoring a headshot, knifing or killing a player with a grenade. Gains two points instead of one.
- Headshot
- Occurs when a person is shot in the head with a sniper rifle.
- MOTD
- Message of the day - a message sent to a player when they join a server.
- Newb
- Shortened version of "Newbie".
- Newbie
- A player who is new to the game; not normally used as an insult.
- noob/n00b
- An insult with varying meanings, but often used to refer to annoying players.
