Assault rifle's best characteristic

An important use for the assault rifle is its extremely high recoil, which you can use for rifle jumping and rifle sprinting. Using rifle sprinting is extremely useful in CTF matches because you can grab the flag and run back to base with it much faster. This is usually the only reason I use it.
