I must say I didn't really think too much when I posted this :) . I hope it won't stirr up any trouble for the active devs or reheat any old discussions.

Hey what's up?
It's now been round about ten years since a bunch of little cubeheads started making this little mod. One of them was me.
Ten years is quite a while, and lots of things happen and c... |

Thread: AC_Douze is ruining things?
Post: RE: AC_Douze is ruining things
You're right, halo. Lazyness on my part, I admit it. Would you care to make me a new version with your vision of spawns/items ? I'd then have a look at bringing the wqd down.
I am all for restricting... |

Halo, I asked you for a version with only the item changes like you had intended them, but you never got back to me.
I am aware that the map is bs for CTF.. removing the flags would be an option. |

^^ intresting... this cover looks like '82 or something. Sounds like progressive minimalism for the time. I see 80ies sci-fi spaceship interiors. |

I know of those :)
Still when it comes to basses, I prefer passive - since it's just simpler.
I also don't like botique looks with all the exotic wood and all. |

True about the wife point hehe. Still - if I had the money, I'd buy my dream bass (2500€) - even if I'm just a mediocre bassist.

You can't bake with proper results if you have overlapping or copied UV's.
This model does not need baking imho, that'd be overkill.
Just learn using dodge/burn.
Next time you make your uv-map, think... |

Yes I always painted on some basic lightning onto my models. Some require more, some less, also depends on the model itself and it's application. Look at drainpipe for example.

What I meant is simply to just paint light and shadow onto the model, since the engine does nothing in this field. You usually get best results if you don't go for drastic highlights/shadows, but rath... |

Thread: What are the requirements for sound files (ogg)?

It can be stereo, but it will usually not work well, since both channels are played at the same spot - won't make sense to use stereo sounds anyways. Mono will be louder and clearer. |
